What this does and does not change
- It does not change your price. Commission comes out of the platform’s margin, not your booking.
- It does not buy a ranking. No operator or hotel can pay to appear on this site or to be ranked higher.
- It does not stop us being critical. We say when a tour has few reviews, when an activity raises animal-welfare questions and when the free option is better.
- It does fund the site. Research, hosting and keeping information current are paid for entirely by these commissions.
How we choose what to recommend
Tours are ranked on how much you see, the quality of guiding, value for money and what reviewers say afterwards. Ratings and review counts are taken directly from GetYourGuide. Accommodation is selected on location, character and reputation, using Trip.com’s listings.
Prices and accuracy
All prices on this site are indicative starting prices and can change at any time. The price on the booking platform at the moment of purchase is the one that applies.
